Our client is major company in the industry of consumer goods currently expanding its operations in North Africa.
Area Manager
Based in Libya
You will provide commercial and operational focus and manage marketing and new product launches in addition to team P&L;.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the P&L;and cashflow for the team
• Build and co-ordinate the sales team and the marketing team
Maintain a strong partnership with the local distributors in order to support the business
• Effectively manage both the inventory and the local agents in order to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Build strong relations with key officials to secure tender business
Identify future business opportunities and recommend appropriate action in order to maximize business potential

Requirements:
• University degree in business and/or science.
• 5-8 yrs proven experience in sales, marketing, distribution in consumer goods/FMCG or pharma in Libya and North Africa
• Fluent English a must. Fluent Arabic a major advantage.
