Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain various aspects of network connectivity, servers and systems including LANs, WANs, security and wireless implementations and other data communications systems to ensure uninterrupted performance and availability of the networks across all service lines.
Establish network specifications by conferring with users; analyse workflow, access, information, and security requirements; design router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
Monitor network performance to optimize software usage, hard disk space utilization and back-ups.
Develop test procedures and plan for network enhancements, hardware modifications and firmware upgrades.
Lead the installation and commissioning of new LAN/WAN systems and coordinate with IT suppliers for installation requirements and equipment deliveries.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Domain Controllers, Exchange Servers, and Internet Servers to ensure that the systems are online, continuously monitored and all data is successfully backed up.
Implement regular maintenance programs and schedules for the network & systems, involving internal IT team as well as suppliers/ vendors through maintenance contracts.
Ensure that the servers & other hardware systems are patched on a timely basis and are highly secure with industry standard protection tools like Anti-Virus, Firewall, etc.
Assist in configuration management and network security issues as required to ensure the update and record of all changes made to configurable network components; configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals under the direction of management.
Interact with network users to seek feedback aiming to resolve any problems in a timely and efficient manner; prepare users by conducting training programs and providing references and support.
Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications and Certifications
§ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
Work Experience
§ Minimum of (2) years of experience in the same or any related field.

Language Skills
§ Good command in English and Arabic.
