Supervises the preparation and production of all baked goods.
Prepares pies and cakes, as well as other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes.
Analyzes food costs and determines most cost-effective recipes while maintaining consistent superior quality.
Ensures that all temperatures of equipment are within the norms; reports to the maintenance department any out-of-order incidents.
Is responsible of storing and stocking raw materials and finished products.
Is responsible for storing and stocking of raw materials and finished products
Inspects products for quality during and after baking and adjusts processes as required.
Maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment clean.
Maintains food production records, reports, and department files as required.
Attends to day-to-day problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies; detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, and/or other unusual conditions.
Completes production sheets and other records as required.
Ensures the highest level of hygiene in all food handling operations.
Trains and coaches all new hired employees in his department to meet job requirements and supervises their performance.
Ensures compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
Evaluates all employees under his/her supervision.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Provides services related to governmental procedures and requirements to employees.
Builds solid relations with all departments to help optimize the time needed to accomplish tasks.
المهارات
TS3 degree Holder in Hospitality with a focus on French Pastry.
At least 7 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Experienced in gathering data and preparing reports.
Ability to maintain high quality control standards.
Experience in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, rolls and/or other baked goods.
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials.
Proven experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Procedures)
Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
