Study tender documents for various oil & gas projects and power plant projects.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits for new Tenders & prepare detailed Site visit report.
Conceptual Design of Project and Cost budgeting for projects.
Cost Estimation for Electrical & Instrumentation Works (Electrical/Substation Equipment, Control Station Equipment, DCS/PLC/ESD and related Control System, Cabling, Field Instrument, FOC Works, Lighting, Earthing, Communication, F&G;and ELV System and Cathodic Protection Works).
Develop manpower, construction equipment mobilization plans & method statements.
Develop effective construction schedules for proposed Tenders in line with clients’ requirements
Inquiry for tender materials/supplies/subcontracts.
Evaluate vendors and subcontractors’ quotations.
Prepare complete package for submission to client include technical & commercial proposals including the applicable list of deviations in the clients’ required format.
Review estimates and costs with the Head of Estimation Mechanical & E&I;/Management prior to a proposal being submitted
Attend clarification meetings and technical discussion with client.
Review and negotiate contract drafts with client during contracting period up to final signature of the contract.
Maintain up-to-date commercial knowledge of the local market including, tender results and Competitors price levels
المهارات
Qualifications
Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical/Instrumentation).
Tendering procedures, discipline specific codes of practice.
Preparing reports & records and Data analysis and tender review.
Drawing interpretation and sketches, Conceptual Design, Materials Costs and quantities.
Minimum 8 Years related work experience in Tendering and/or Estimating and 4-5 years as Supervisory level on a live project.
