Monitoring the performance of servers to ensure they run efficiently, and troubleshooting any issues that arise
Creating server configuration standards and ensuring that they are followed by all users
Installing new software on servers as needed, updating existing applications with security patches, and removing software that is no longer being used
Monitoring server storage capacity to ensure adequate space is available for new data
Recommending upgrades to server hardware or software to meet increasing demands on system performance
Assigning unique identification numbers to each server to ensure that all information is traceable
Working with other IT staff to ensure that network security measures are in place to protect against unauthorized access to data or disruption of service
Configuring network settings such as IP addresses, DNS settings, and routing protocols
المهارات
Bachelor degree is a technical discipline
Recommended professional level certifications in server venders such as HPE, Dell-EMC, Lenovo, Nutanix
Experience working on different backup solutions
Experience more than three years in system administration
