الوصف الوظيفي Costing and Inventory · Ensure the proper validation of all financial costing and inventory data on the system · Identify any variances in the financial costing and inventory records and coordinate with the respective departments to justify the variances before submitting to the Costing and Inventory Accounts Manager to rectify the errors (if any) · Analyze inventory valuations and perform product lifecycle analysis (i.e. cost and benefits) · Audit job orders vs. cost calculations and calculate overhead costs · Identify and analyze the factors affecting the prices and profitability of company products (i.e. manufacturing operations, utilization and equipment availability) · Compare standard costs to actual costs and identify the variances (i.e. raw material, production, purchasing, direct and indirect labor, rent, shipping, administration, distribution, landed cost, etc.) · Analyze and update expenses within the company goods and services supply chain · Reconcile costing data/transactions against software systems to ensure accuracy · Work with cross functional business units to ensure inventorial costs are properly captured · Perform detailed analysis of costs in coordination with the Inventory Controller and the various departments across the company to identify and update cost variations with respect to their type of operations · Calculate the estimated landed cost/cost variation as part of business development and planning prior to product launching/customization (i.e. selling price (SP), gross profit percentage (GP), etc.) · Calculate the actual costs of new products in coordination with the Costing and Inventory Accounts Manager · Liaise with the Dates Imports Department to evaluate the cost of potential purchases, compare them with existing product costs and provide recommendations on the course of action Month/Year End Closing · Gather the financial data and support the costing and inventory team in monthly and yearly financial closing · Participate in performing physical stock count as well as stock variance reconciliations Financial Control · Report any discrepancies and irregularities in financial transactions with regards to costing and inventory · Perform and ensure the accuracy of record keeping of all financial transactions Reporting · Report any costing issues to the Costing and Inventory Accounts Manager · Ensure the proper documentation and archiving of financial data, reports and supporting documents (if any) · Prepare, review and submit the costing reports to the Costing and Inventory Accounts Manager (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually or upon request from the top management) · Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services · Perform any other relevant work assigned by the Costing and Inventory Accounts Manager المهارات · 5+ years of relevant experience · Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Accounting software applications · Advanced ability to interpret and evaluate complex financial data .
