Legal Accountant

الوصف الوظيفي
To perform all accounting tasks related to legal cases presented for the review of experts and other official authorities.

Operational Duties

Maintain a proper record of the financial transactions related to a law cases.
Ensure financial statements are prepared at regular intervals of time.
Offer the Right Financial Advice
Tax filing is one of the essential functions of a law firm. But it is certainly not the core function. Hiring professional accountants can help in making this process easily manageable. Tax preparation can prove to be extremely stressful, if not managed properly and could lead to penalties from the state tax department.
Represent the Bank while dealing with external parties like experts and authorities.
Customer’ Relations Management (internal and/or external)

Communicate and meet with internal & external stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting

Provide necessary input for preparing the periodic reports.

Policies and Procedures

Perform periodic review of the legal procedure.

Auditing and Review

Perform annual review of legal cases accounting records.

المهارات
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· At least 8 years in a similar position with demonstrated experience in a Legal Department

· Must have a Chartered Accountant Certification (ACCA)

· Strong knowledge/experience in TAX and Filing

· Strong stakeholder management skills both Internal and External

· Must be Bilingual and Residing in Kuwait

. Knowledge of dealing with expert management sessions.

. Experience and knowledge of the practices and processes of the banking institutions.
