Registrar - Oral Surgery

الوصف الوظيفي
Protect patients and themselves from infectious disease by using
appropriate safety apparel; including masks, gloves and glasses.

Strict attendance is required to ensure continuity of care for patients;
which includes, but is not limited to, reporting to work on time and as
scheduled with the ability to perform assigned duties.

Educate patients regarding preventive dental care, cause and
treatment of dental issues and oral health services.

Provide non-clinical mentoring/education to dentists in group as it
relates to oral surgery to enhance group knowledge base.

Devise individualized treatment plans for patients independently or
by consulting with other providers (e.g. Medical Doctors, referring
dentists, dental specialist) as needed to treat patient.

Evaluate and determine treatment based on position of the wisdom
teeth (collaborate with other providers as necessary to plan
treatment).

Provide treatment in an Operating Room (OR) setting as necessary
for patients undergoing General Anesthesia.

Skills
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary between patients, dental assistants, hygienists, receptionists and support staff

Detail-oriented: In order to ensure the proper medications and treatment are administered, dentists need to be detail orientated. They must pay close attention to the teeth and their shape, space and shade. If they are matching a false tooth alongside the patient’s teeth, color matching is vital.

Dexterity: Dentists need to be adept at working with their hands. They only have limited space to work within.

Leadership skills: The majority of dentists have their own practice and this means they have to be capable of leading and managing their staff.

Organizational skills: Keeping accurate records of every patient and their subsequent treatment is part of being a successful dentist. These skills are crucial in both business and medical environments.

Minimum 3 years experience in Dental or Oral Surgery
