Responsible for performing the day to day sales activities, including stock visibility and store space in addition to maintaining good customer relationships while achieving the department’s sales targets.
Implement the Sales established policies and procedures and comply with Mohamed Naser Al – Hajery & Sons other policies.
Sales Supervisor Activities
Perform the day-to-day sales activities for the COOPs, in addition to following up on orders and deliveries to achieve the monthly and annual sales targets.
Conduct periodic check-ups on the floor display, implement the visibility agreement of the COOPs in order to ensure that company’s products are located in the agreed upon store space.
Administer the inventory movement of the products in the COOPs within the store/ warehouse in order to identify low inventory levels and coordinate with the concerned support team for the provision of the required stocks/ materials.
Minimize COOPS Food sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods by monitoring returns, implementing the depletion plan and avoiding overstocking the points of sales.
Assist the COOPs Food Sales Supervisor in coordinating sales promotion activities and campaigns according to predefined budgets.
Follow up on the collection of invoices and due payments of the COOPs, in order to ensure receivables are paid on timely basis.
Communicate the weekly visit schedules to the merchandisers to ensure timely delivery of all the required items to the assigned stores/ warehouses.
Ensure that all sales documentation of COOPs is maintained and recorded in their respective files.
Anticipate COOPs customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
Maintain positive relations with existing COOPs customers in order to ensure customer retention.
Handle and respond to client’s queries in a professional and effective manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Provide COOPs customers with the appropriate selection, sampling of products in response to their inquiries and liaise with the COOPs Food Sales Supervisor in order to provide customers with quotations, as required.
Anticipate COOPs customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements, in coordination with the COOPs Food Sales Supervisor.
Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by Direct Manager.
Prepare and submit periodic reports to direct management pertaining to Merchandizing activities and any issues that may arise.
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 7 - 9 years of experience in the same or related field.
Good knowledge of the principal’s planning, expiry, First in First Out, and Product Management.
FMCG with experience in traditional trade (small supermarkets and baqqalas)
