الوصف الوظيفي 1. Plans, directs, manages and coordinates operations for patient care activities. Facilitates in achieving overall Hospital goals and objectives though departmental activities. 2. Creates nursing models that promotes and maintains high standards for effective and efficient patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior. 3. Participates regularly with members of the medical staff, administrative team, and employees in decision making related to patient care. 4. Provides leadership for organizational performance improvement activities; initiates quality improvement programs. 5. Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies and accreditation standards. 6. Prepares, reviews, and manages activity based nursing budgets, to ensure responsible allocation of capital and operating funds. 7. Utilizes role modeling, mentoring, counseling, coaching, formal and informal education to promote an environment of competence, professionalism, customer service, and ethical behavior. 8.Engages in patient rounds to evaluate care and promote customer satisfaction. 9. Analyzes adverse trends and makes appropriate recommendations on subjects relating to nursing management. 10. Plans for the provision of orientation, in-service training, and continuing education programs. 11. Combines effort with recruitment and retention activities to assure adequate numbers of competent staff to meet the needs of patient populations served. 12. Actively participates in community and professional organizations as a representative of the Hospital. 13. Ensures establishment of appropriate equipment needs for the patient care areas and participates in purchase and equipment committee. 14. Participates in review of facility fees and cost of procedures, recommends fiscal requirements of the Hospital and provides input into budgetary recommendations. 15. Attends continuing education activities to maintain current knowledge and skills. 16. Attends committees and regularly scheduled meeting for the improvement of patient care. 17. Advises the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director on matters relating to the operation of the Patient Care division 18.
