What we’re looking for:

As a graphic designer at Ajar, you will lead our visual communication across all channels. You will utilize our brand guidelines to create engaging, shareable visual content that is representative of Ajar’s brand aesthetic.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Research and gather elements to produce resonating visuals
Conceptualize visuals based on the team’s requirements
Suggest and develop the most suitable visual format to communicate any given message
Design visual elements for social media, newsletter communication, print materials, and other channels as needed
Accept and implement feedback on visuals as needed
Ensure that final designs are appealing and in line with Ajar’s brand guidelines

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Design or other visual communications field
Minimum of 2-4 years experience working in graphic design

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in using Adobe Suite products, including Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with design software and technologies
Keen eye for aesthetics
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of the Arab audience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to think creatively and insightfully
Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team
Ability to cope under pressure
Strong understanding of different media channels and their features, audiences, and functions
