Job Description
* Fills medication orders (IVs , chemotherapy, oral, external, ) and make them read y for checking by staff pharmacist. * Admixes sterile pharmaceuticals (including chemotherapy) , adhering to department approved * Unit dose repackaging and compounding of pharmaceuticals. * Prep a res medication labels as stated by * Participates in stock control programs (inventorying and monitoring usage). * Monitor’s expiration dates of * Maintains clean working environment including hoods and counter * Stocks the work area with appropriate quantity of drugs and materials * Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as r e quired b y law and D e partmental * Ensur e maintenance and safe operations of * Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols * Performs other job-related duties within his / her technical ability as assigned
