Job description

We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with Strong interpersonal skills for the position of an interior designer. The interior designer’s key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, inspecting with the construction team to ensure alignment with design specifications are met.

The chosen candidate is to be able to work individually and in teams and to think creatively about the use of space, colors and movement and to be updated about the latest trends, materials and furniture available in the market and to be familiar with

tendering process, local contractors and suppliers.

Interior Designer Responsibilities:

· Meet with clients and Outline client design needs and objectives.

· Conceptualize and sketch design plans.

· Set a timeline for the completion of the interior design projects.

· Create ‘mood boards’ to sample your design vision.

· Communicate with the team and vendors to address client needs.

· Prepare interior designs keeping in mind the client’s budget using 2D & 3D software’s.

· Present designs to clients.

· Source materials and products included in the design.

· Prepare all the execution drawings required for the construction team to start work on site

this include all materials specifications, dimensions and all details required.

· May help in Projects and Tender’s pricing.

· May Need to do occasional site visits.

· Follow up with the construction team to make sure of the completion of

work according to the design submitted.

Interior Designer Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or interior design.

· Minimum 4 Years of actual work experience Preferably in Kuwait.

· A Driving license is a Plus.

· Speaks Arabic and English Fluently.

· Can work under tight deadlines.

· Portfolio of design work.

· Project management experience is a plus.

· Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.

· Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.

· Proficiency in 3D max, AutoCAD, Adobe suite, Sketch-Up or any similar design software’s (Revit and Lumion Are a Plus) and Microsoft office.
