Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Receive complaints and resolve problems
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Decide on reward and promotion based on performance
Training or ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles
Scheduling work hours and shifts & Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Coordinating job rotation and cross-training
Sharing company updates, financial results, and new objectives with team members
Assisting in resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling.
Identifying and resolving workplace problems, including tardiness or absenteeism.
Providing reports and activity updates to management.

The Supervisor is responsible for managing the staff, processes and comprehend complex operations. The supervisor will ensure that products and services are delivered at maximum quality in a profitable manner. By giving clear and timely instructions, the supervisor oversees the work of other employees to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
The successful supervisor possesses acute problem-solving skills and motivates staff results by communicating job expectations; meticulous planning, monitoring, and appraising. This role will be responsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as well as initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. The supervisor must maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process, understanding the inevitable variables, and facilitating corrections
