Corrosion Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
i) Corrosion Engineer shall be capable to handle basic functions including, but not limited to the following:-

· Studies, monitors and reports on environmental conditions in the Refinery that cause the deterioration of metal by corrosion or a combination of corrosion and other adverse factor and recommends solutions.

· Coordinates corrosion control activities with Operations, Maintenance /Engineering and Consultants representatives.

· Shall be conversant with latest API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, NACE codes / standards.

· Experience in RBI methodology is preferred.

ii) Corrosion Engineer served for KNPC more than 10 years may be considered as Corrosion Engineer (A) based on performance.

iii) Corrosion Engineer served for KNPC between 05-10 years may be considered as Corrosion Engineer (B) based on performance.

iv) Corrosion Engineer served for KNPC less than 05 years shall be considered as Corrosion Engineer (C).

المهارات
Minimum qualification and experience requirements for Corrosion Engineer shall be as follows:

i) B.Sc. degree in Chemical, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering preferably with post-graduation or industrial training in Metallurgy.

ii) 8 years of work experience in a large refinery/petrochemical/ fertilizer industry out of which minimum 4 years should be in inspection of running plant of oil Refinery.
