Senior Financial Analyst / Portfolio Manager – Listed Equities

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage listed equity portfolios of the Company focus on Developed Markets coverage. 
Develop an investment policy aligned to the company’s strategy and investment criteria for Listed Equity investments.
Participate in creating model portfolios, construct financial models for individual stocks and undertake equity research as needed by the investment team.
Prepare financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments - bank applications, information memoranda and prospectus.
Monitor news flow, economic and macro data and participate in discussions with the investment team on how best to position investments.
Liaise with investment providers, fund managers, administrators, brokers and regulators as required to carry out investment activities.
Conduct market / economic / industry research and gather information to aid team decision making.
Participate in financial briefings with internal and external parties as a member of the investment team.
Ensure that all investment compliance regulations are met.
Any other duties as may be assigned by your Supervisor.

Applicant Requirements

Must possess at least ten years’ experience in the field of finance and investment management. We are looking for an individual with experience in managing Developed Market listed equity portfolios.
Experience in an investment company / bank / family office in the GCC would be an added advantage. Knowledge of Arabic is not required but is an advantage. Experience in Shariah compliant investing is also an advantage.
Candidates possessing professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, CA will be at an advantage. Candidates at an advanced stage of completion may also apply.
At a minimum, the applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce. A Master’s degree in business or finance will be an advantage. Degree holders in Science / Maths / Computers with requisite investing experience and possessing professional certifications are invited to apply.
Must possess business planning skills including financial modeling and budgeting.
Must demonstrate skills in communication, negotiation and presentation.
