Each repair order should be checked for each customer order line and its corresponding Labour line. Ensure each of the customer complaint is attended and the root cause is addressed.
Ensure each customer complaint is addressed from the root cause. It should be clearly identified, highlighted and addressed.
Ensure the technicians have referred all campaigns and bulletins while carrying out the jobs. If not, bring technicians attention to the related bulletins and ensure all campaigns are carried out before the vehicle is released.
Study the descriptive write up by the technician and question the work methods used if required.
Ensure each job is completed and there are no doubts about the work methods used. Road test the vehicle to ensure symptoms reported by customer are not present. For intermittent complaints, ensure a hard fault was found by technician / team leader and was rectified before releasing the vehicle.
