We continuously build our global technology solutions team to further elevate the level of technical support accorded to the organization in the areas of network, systems, data, and security management.

The Senior Network Specialist oversees and supports the organization’s network system. This role is responsible for implementation and administration of network hardware and software, including maintenance and integration of corporate WAN, LAN, and computer architecture. This role works hand in hand with the Network Architect on projects that improve network architecture, design, and security.

Your Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of business issues and goals in order to provide appropriate technical solutionsAssess current and future network needs and perform capacity planning analysisDesign network architectureDevelop and document the configuration details necessary to support the installation of the network and network management systems, including rack layouts and patch cable installation detailsOversee planning, documentation, implementation, integration, and migration of existing network and communications infrastructureMaintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurationsDeliver solutions to the network management team for proactive managementUtilize network performance monitoring tools to identify and analyze impairments that may affect servicesContinually assess network technology and engage in research and development team to bring new solution that helps in better productivity and cost reductionPrioritize workloads and manage customer expectationsPerform end-to-end trouble isolation and repair on physical and logical layer; test and sign-off of systems after installationDevise action plans on more complex issues, as well as oversee the execution of these plansPerform data backups and disaster recovery operationsDefine security requirements and perform investigation of security breachesTake part in audits, both internal and externalUnderstand and adhere to current IT standards, policies and processes

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalentCCNA/CCNP/CCIE Certified - Routing and SwitchingPalo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE7)Minimum 7 years’ experience in a related field with experience in routing and switching; at least 3 years’ experience in Next Generation Firewalls; at least 2 years’ experience leading a team

Your Proficiencies

Proven experience in producing network designs, testing plans, and thorough documentation is essentialIn-depth knowledge in routing and switching design and deployment (BGP, OSPF, STP, etc.)Experience in security technologies such as Firewalls, NGFW, UTM, AV, etc.; excellent knowledge of Next Generation firewalls deployment, configuration, and managementKnowledge of Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA firewalls, and FortiGate NGFWKnowledge and understanding of Cisco switching and routing, load balancing technologies, maintaining and managing GSS/GSLB infrastructure for large organizationsKnowledge and understanding of Hyper-V SCVMM, VMwareCustomer service orientedTeam player with good team management skillsMulti-tasker and organizedStrong work ethicsProblem solver a
