Stock Room Assistant
Do you have goods handling experience and an in-depth knowledge of heavy goods handling procedures to ensure personal and product safety? While you will be responsible for ensuring all stock in our Stockroom is correctly checked, labelled and stored in good condition, your role will also include the movement of stock and providing assistance to the sales team, such as product replenishment on the sales floor.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ability to read, write and speak English.
Physically fit to assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, which may include lifting and carrying heavy items.
Knowledge of and compliance with ‘Goods Handling’ health and safety regulations.
A basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail for stock recording on the ERP system.
An adaptable team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude who is objective and uses common sense.
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster that includes weekends and evening shifts.
A high level of personal hygiene and grooming.
Advantages:
Retail sales experience in furniture, homeware or fashion.
Working knowledge of Navision ERP system.
