Job Purpose:
· To be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
· To uphold the Hospital ethics, operating policies and conform to the department work instructions.

Primary Duties Performed:
Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
Prepares Bank Reconciliation.
Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Prepares financial management reports.
Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Develops and maintains financial data bases.
Ensures accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Assists in any other duties assigned by Management as and when required.
