ANALYZER TECHNICIAN position code ( D 600 )
Job Description:

The Analyzer Technician will develop an understanding of
The unit analyzer system and apply knowledge to improve the
System, define problems, and make necessary repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

* Analyzer system PM, calibration, troubleshooting and repair.
(online, gas detector, portable gas detector, Lab analyzers etc
* Preventive maintenance program analyzer inspections and updates.
* Installation, commissioning, check-out start-up of analyzer systems.
* Drawing and procedure updates. ( Loop sketches, logic, calibration,
test records, reading, understanding and identifying analyzer
plumbing drawings/components, etc.)
• Basic unit operation knowledge.
• EH&S;policies, and procedures compliance.(safety training, work
Practices)
• Interface with EQUATE maintenance& production staff to keep
abreast of their needs and problems.
• Assist operators in performing equipment repairs, preparing for
maintenance and returning equipment to service after maintenance.
• Execute all analyzer jobs assigned to him.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and in ready condition.
• Knowledge in PC usage for analyzer maint: support activities.

Qualifications:

• Technical certificate shall be in electronic study diploma or Bsc and 5to 8 years dedicated experience on analyzer equipments.
• A complete and through understanding of analyzer systems, loop
and logic drawings, test equipments, ESD systems, alarm systems
and electronics.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skill.
• Demonstrate a positive safety attitude and willingness to work
With in team concept.
• The ability to learn logic skill.
• Working level knowledge in Gas chromatograph analyzer.
• Knowledge in Oxygen analyzer, IR, UV analyzers, TC,TOC
Analyzers, PH, conductivity analyzers, sampling system and
Cylinder handling…etc.
