LOGISTICS MANAGER
Job Profile
Leading company’s Logistics in cooperation with Procurement and Project Departments
Liaise and negotiate with Shipping and Forwarding Companies
Key Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing and transportation of equipment
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Checking necessary papers (BoL, CMR, Packing Lists, Invoices, etc)
Handling all issues related to the Customs Office (interfacing, liaising, executing)
Coordinate with PMs and SEs for the proper delivery and checking of equipmemt on site
Communication and coordination with the different departments involved
Clarify different administration issues relative to the project (tax issues, import – export if necessary, etc.)
Cost control (compare forwarders offers – check compliance of Invoices with agreed pricing)
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Personal Skills/Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
Analytical & Conceptual thinking
Team spirit and knowledge sharing attitude
Advanced Computer skills in MS Office and Standard Logistics Software
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Solid technical background and understanding of major concepts of Renewable Energy projects
English language is a must – Arabic language is also expected
1-4 years minimum experience in a similar position
Preference for young, enthusiastic individuals with a keenness to learn and evolve within the Renewable Energy Industry
