SOC Analyst

We are looking to hire a SOC Analyst to work with a client based in Sharjah, UAE.
Looking for immediate joiners.
Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and analyses security incidents and alerts generated by the SOC and/or MSSP.
• Coordinate Incident response by liaising with different internal IT teams to ensure timely response to incidents and alerts.
• Ensure SLAs of incidents and alerts is met.
• Support the SOC and/or MSSP in analyzing and investigating security incidents and identify root cause.
• Maintain and distribute reports of incidents and SLA met.
• Analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users
• Follow-up on remediation activities
• Triage security events and incidents and general information security tickets.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Technical knowledge of networking concepts and network infrastructure.
• Technical knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and SIEM technologies.
• Familiar with antivirus, Firewall, IDS/IPS protocols.
• Understanding of network and computer security, security testing, software security
• Knowledge with Windows & nix platforms
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative and team focus
