Contracts Engineer

Sharjah based reputed Engineering & Contracting Company looking for a Contracts Engineer
Job Responsibilities:-
• Drafting LOA, LOI, MOU and Condition of Contract for the Main Contract and Subcontracts.
• Comprehend, analyse and interpret terms and conditions of contract/subcontract and report contract/subcontract obligations and risks to the senior management.
• Assist in negotiating contract terms and incorporating them into the contract agreement.
• Support and manage all activities related to the internal administration of the contracts. Maintain effective and accurate records of all project contractual and commercial documentation;
• Review of contractual correspondence, including preparing letters and contractual notices according to the Main Contract.
• Engage in meetings and correspondence with the subcontractors.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial aspects of change order proposals.
• Maintain and oversee contract database.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
• University degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• With a minimum of 6 years of experience in the building construction industry in UAE in the contracts administration function or quantity surveying.
