Job Purpose: Develop corporate Quality, Health, Safety and Environment vision, objectives and targets. Manage QHSE activities and conduct risk & impact assessments to ensure a safe work place across the company. Ensure a continued process of improvement in the standards of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and compliance with the group and local applicable HSE laws. Monitor compliance with, develop and maintain the internal integrated (Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental) management systems.

Key Accountability/ Responsibility
Develop overall QHSE strategy and approach for the group and ensure the implementation across the group.
Identify common and more complex safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the business operations, and establishes guidelines for protection from such hazards.
Develop emergency management plans and ensure incident / accident response including first aid, rescue, evacuation, investigation and subsequent reporting is provided to management.
Ensure implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environmental emergency planning & response procedures.
Provide direction and guidance to the management team and employees on QHSE issues within the workplace. Propose budget for QHSE initiatives as applicable.
Raise awareness and inculcate a positive Health & Safety culture across all business operations.
Ensure that reporting requirements to government entities are fully complied with in a timely manner as per the group standard requirements and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements / contractual/client requirements.
Provide support to the operations as required related to contract management and safety compliance.
Conduct, coordinate and facilitate investigation of HSE incidents and develop/implement the appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with the different department on Sub-contractors pre –qualification process and develop a standard procedure.
Oversee, develop, implement, maintain and continually improve the company QHSE systems and documentations (ISO 9001- Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 14001 Environmental Management.
Develop annual Internal Audit plans to verify the compliance as per ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Conduct a compliance review against QHSE ISO Standards and develop the missing processes, procedures and records. Implement on a suitable contract and manage a successful accreditation process.
Lead the surveillance and re-certification audits with External certification bodies for our existing QHSE ISO certifications.
Review external audit reports and co-ordinate with different department’s for effective close out actions for non-conformance.
Prepare recommendations for changes to meet the future revisions of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements
Prepare monthly reports on QHSE performance across the business.
Report monthly on QHSE matters relating to employees, OHS performance, compliance and non-compliance with legal obligations to Central HR, CEO, and the Senior Management Team for immediate resolution and corresponding action.
Monitor and Prepare formal quarterly & annual reports on QHSE performance and Risk Management related matters that will be addressed to the Dealer Principals.
Training
Develop Corporate QHSE training matrix and monitor the implementation of training’s across the company in coordination with the learning and development team.
Organize centralized external QHSE training’s as per the company standards and local authority requirements
Organize and Conduct QHSE awareness training’s across the company.
Coordinate with different departments on developing Contract specific QHSE training and Operational training matrix as per contractual requirements, External & Internal audit outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree with specialization in HSE /Engineering /Management or related field.
8-10 years of relevant experience, experience in building and executing a QHSE strategy.
Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex QHSE related issues.
Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems.
Possess strong planning, organizational, teamwork and presentation skills.
Be computer literate with Microsoft Office to a proficient level with good typing skills.
Integrated Management systems training Certification and experience.
Registered Health & Safety Professional.
NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational health and Safety (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health - UK) IGC qualified is preferred.
Internal Auditor Certification Training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
