Plant General Manager (CCGT)
$20,000 to $25,000 per month
The Business
• A large CCGT Power & Desalination Plant.
• This asset is an Independent Power & Water Project. The Plant General Manager position is nominated by one of the Developers.
The Role
• Full responsibility for the financial and technical performance of this large CCGT power and desalination plant.
• Reporting to the project company and ensuring the business meets all the obligations of the power purchase agreement (PPA).
• Ensuring the plant produces electricity and water in a safe and efficient manner within the agreed budgets.
• Direct management of an Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager and Business Administration Manager. Indirect management of 100’s of Engineers and Technicians.
• Management of a large operating expenditure budget.
• Developing capital expenditure plans to improve the performance of the plant.
• Championing world class safety standards on the asset.
المهارات
The Candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a Western University
• 20 years in the operation and maintenance of large power projects
• Strong technical understanding of CCGT technology
• Previous experience in a Plant Manager role, ideally in the Middle East
• Excellent H&S;credentials
