UI DESIGNER

Job Description and Requirements
Requirements:
5+ years of web and web UI design and development experience (Mobile & responsive designs).
Responsibilities:

Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability for the intended audience/users and the key
usability/transactional/experience objectives
Front-end skills and some basic understanding of how back-end development works
Solid mark-up skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Experience using and customizing jQuery libraries
Use Adobe Creative Suite programs, e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Flex to mock-up UI elements
Use responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices
Conduct usability testing to identify and fix UI issues, and gather real-world intelligence from target users
Use social network APIs (from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.) to integrate social actions
Use visual aids such as wireframes, storyboards and UI flow charts, to plan and present user interface designs
Practical exposure and experience working in a development environment that includes Node.js, CSS pre-processors such as SASS/LESS, and task
runners like Gulp and Grunt
Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
Knowledge of HTML Email best practice
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to develop search-friendly websites and interfaces
Collaborate with business and IT decision makers to discuss user interface requirements and brainstorm UI ideas
Keep current with the latest trends and best practices of UI/UX design and HCI (human-computer interaction)
