The purpose of this position is to manage finished goods warehouse.Overseeing the receipt of goods, caretaking of stored materials and their issuance. Eliminating variances in the physical and ERP system stocks. Maintaining effective control over cross warehouse material transfers. Managing the distribution and logistics and ensuring efficient distribution activities, leads the team of purchase professionals responsible for managing the company-wide purchases diversity, accountable for buying the best quality equipment, products and goods, at the most competitive prices for the company. It oversees organization-wide demand and purchases of such items.
Through effective negotiation, networking and dealing with numbers, this position helps the company save money and increase profits. It also deals with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues while managing purchases.
