AC Technician

الوصف الوظيفي
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for repairing, installation and maintenance of the facility’s air conditioning systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Responds to the site facility coordinator or supervisor to repair and maintenance the air conditioners.
▪ Asks questions to determine nature of problem and make mental notes to choose the correct tools to take along.
▪ Provides customers with information on how installation will take place and what materials will be used.
▪ Writes down a list of material and supplies needed for installation purposes and order them from facility coordinator.
▪ Installs air conditioners in houses and commercial buildings by following standard installation protocols.
▪ Test installed air conditioners to ensure that they are in proper working condition.
▪ Repairs air conditioning units by performing analysis and troubleshooting activities.
▪ Performs maintenance activities such as cleaning AC grills and filters on installed air conditioning systems.
▪ Replaces AC systems that are not in a fixable condition.
▪ Provides customers with information on operating air conditioning systems to derive complete benefit from them.
▪ Understands important safety related issues.
▪ Provides daily reporting to the site supervisor.

المهارات
Experience:
▪ Relevant 3 - 5 years of work experience in UAE.
Qualification /Training:
▪ High school diploma.
Skills/Competencies:
▪ Knowledge of complex air conditioning systems (chillers, split duct, etc…)
▪ Knowledge of air conditioning works.
▪ Knowledge of varying mechanical layouts.
▪ Skills in electrical works.
▪ Experience in HVAC environment.
▪ Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
▪ Good understanding of basic math.
▪ Physical agility.
▪ Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail.
▪ Customer service and problem resolution abilities.
▪ Ability to work well under pressure.
▪ Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a Must.
