We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and detail-oriented API Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. If you have a knack for API testing, specifically with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, we want to hear from you!
Location: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts
• Execute manual tests for functionality, performance, and reliability
• Automate tests using POSTMAN collections and other tools
• Collaborate with our Digital Factory to ensure seamless API integration
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation
Key Skills:
• Extensive experience in API testing (GraphQL & RESTful)
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases
• Expertise in creating and managing POSTMAN collections
• Strong skills in test automation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Day-to-Day Activities:
• Collaborate with the Digital Factory on API requirements
• Develop and execute test plans
• Manage POSTMAN collections for automated testing
• Report and resolve defects
• Update test documentation and reports
• Enhance API testing practices and processes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in API testing (GraphQL & RESTful)
• Proven experience in manual testing and test case writing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with performance testing tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
