Hiring Optometrist with Valid Haad License
Responsibilities:
• Welcome, greet, and provide excellent customer service in a genuine and friendly manner to all customers from the moment they enter the store;
• Conduct eye exams (including RTA eye tests) using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation;
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and recommend appropriate vision care;
• Operate other optical equipment for eye health diagnostic and consultation;
• Handle medical insurance claims and other documentation;
• Collect and record relevant customer information in the CRM system;
• Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and in a professional way and escalated to senior team members if needed;
• Keep the eye test room, equipment, and tools in perfect condition, clean and organised;
• Participate, whenever needed, in inventory/stock management and aftersales procedures;
• Participate in relevant training and comply with the company’s operational standards.
Requirements:
• Optometry degree and valid HAAD license;
• 5+ years of experience as an optometrist in the UAE;
• In-depth knowledge and applied understanding of best practices in optometry and related diagnostic;
• Strong interpersonal skills to ensure flawless customer experience – in person, over the phone, and through email;
• Excellent communication skills and English language abilities;
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop professional competency;
• Confidence, professionalism, and teamwork at all times.
