Assistant Quality Engineer

Assistant Quality Engineer required
Location: Abu Dhabi
PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
Inspect fabricated components and prepare inspection reports.
Qualification, Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required
CERTIFICATION: CSWIP 3.1, NDT Level -II (RT, PT, UT, and MPI, VT) is a must. NACE or BGAS certification will be an added advantage.
Specific Knowledge/Skills/Competences:
• Technical & Mechanical:
• Good knowledge of fabrication, welding & painting.
• Knowledge of raw materials, quality control.
• Ability to interpret Fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic Industrial Safety Awareness
• UAE Driving license.
Principal Accountabilities - Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect fabricated components.
• Prepare inspection reports.
• Check material test certificates and inspection reports from suppliers, subcontractors etc.
• Assist in preparation for client audits and third-party inspections.
• Any other task assigned.
• Comply with all processes and procedures (HR, Quality, HSE, Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law.
• Employee shall comply with requirements listed in Company’s QHSE Management System.
