Hiring General Manager - Pharmaceuticals
Location: Dubai
Reports to CEO
Expected Compensation: Negotiable.
Employer: Distributor of Pharmaceuticals in Dubai.
Objective:
Hiring an experienced General Manager who will be in charge of the daily operations of the facility. He/she will be tasked with leading the organization in forging strategic partnerships that will lead to its growth.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coordinate and oversee the daily operations and activities of the company.
• Determine staffing requirements and participate in the recruitment of qualified and competent staff, staff appraisal, training and disciplinary.
• Develop strong partnership with current principals and achieve growth.
• Forge business cooperation /partnership with leading pharmaceuticals companies.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies including, but not limited to, sales promotions and Enforce company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that the company complies with government regulations and licensing.
• Convene and chair regular staff meetings to discuss maWers of concern with regard to performance, conduct and facilities.
• Ensure that Annual Targets (Sales / Collections / New companies) and budget of the company are achieved. § Ensure employees leave schedule, duty rosters and other requirements are prepared; and adhered.
• Write and submit monthly and annual reports to the board.
Qualifications
• BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Business Management /Business Administration from a recognized institution,
• Master’s degree will be an added advantage
• 3- 5 years of experience working as a General Manager in a pharmaceutical or as a departmental head in Sales & Marketing with a flair in Financials Good knowledge of business and management principles and practices in UAE
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
• Strong work ethic; and Entrepreneurial spirit.
