Senior Electrical Engineer required
Responsibilities
• Understanding of drawings, Builders’ work Drawings, and MEP Coordination services drawings.
• Understanding the Contract documents, BOQ and Scope of work.
• Development of flexible workforce, Planning, and Scheduling for resource optimization.
• Preparation and updating the logs (Drawings, Material Submittals, NCR, Method of Statement, RFI, WIR etc.)
• Preparation of Method of Statement and Material Submittal.
• Calculate Voltage Drop, Cable size as per authority jurisdiction, Carry out the work as per standards and Authority jurisdiction.
• Responsible for Site Execution.
• Responsible for Estimate of Quantity, the indent of material, and following up with the suppliers/procurement.
• Ability to prepare RFIS with all the supporting documents.
• Responsible for closing of NCRS.
• Responsible for raising IR for QA/QC department.
• Meeting with the Safety team to make sure all safety norms and TBT provide safe working conditions.
• Coordination and supervision of installation of the Electrical lighting, power, Earthling and Lighting protection, Low current, structure cabling and security systems of projects.
• Assist the Procurement team in the procurement of Electrical Consumables, types of machinery and equipment.
• Review Electrical installation and services.
• Review the design of All Electrical services.
• Manage testing, commission, training, and handover of all the systems.
• Work closely with other Architects, Engineers, Draftsperson and Quantity Surveyors in the planning of projects, scheduling of tasks, and developing an integrated design.
• Review and ensure the documents prepared meets the quality standard requirements.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of the expected outputs.
• Carry out the design of services for projects according to the Consultant Design requirement and as per international standards and codes of practice.
• Carry out site inspections and assessments as required and prepare reports when required.
• Perform any other tasks relevant to the Project manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7-10 years of proven work experience.
• Available within UAE
• Experience with Authority Regulations. Villa compounds, Hotels&Resorts;, Residential and Commercial Buildings.
