Job Title: Project Engineer (Civil)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil inspector in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years of experience in inspecting and monitoring civil construction activities. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining inspection reports, identifying and documenting non-conformance issues, conducting site audits, providing technical support to project engineers and superintendents, and ensuring that all civil works are completed to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of civil engineering works to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, identifying non-conformance issues and providing recommendations for corrective actions
• Identify and report potential safety hazards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections and corrective actions
• Work with contractors to resolve non-conformance issues
• Monitor and document project progress
• Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards
• Report to the Project Engineer.
Qualifications
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in civil inspection
• Proven ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit software
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
