Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an efficient and organized inventory system tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
• Establish appropriate labeling, categorization, and storage methods for various inventory items to ensure easy accessibility and efficient tracking.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future inventory needs accurately.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to develop inventory procurement plans and schedules that meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of inventory items.
• Inspect and receive inventory deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality of items received against purchase orders.
• Implement a comprehensive tracking system to monitor stock levels, replenishments, and usage of inventory items.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions, adjustments, and movement within the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with sales and fulfillment teams to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Implement measures to prevent and rectify discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of the inventory management system.
• Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover, minimize carrying costs, and reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Analyze inventory performance and propose improvements to enhance cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff involved in inventory management to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and accountability.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• 3-4 years of proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations from a reputed manufacturing companies in UAE/ GCC/ Africa.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
