IT Support Specialist

Al Benaa Real Estate Investment PJSC is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, update, review, diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of software and computer systems
• Maintain and repair technological equipment.
• Create and maintain accounts for new and existing users and assist login problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software or hardware issues. Analyze logs to spot trends and potential issues.
• Install well-functioning LAN/WAN, WiFI, Access Points and other networks.
• Manage network components (servers, IPs, etc.).
• Create records of repairs and fixes.
• Provide technical support. Guide colleagues or clients thru the process to resolve technical problems in a timely manner using available resources within the company.
• Maintain procedures that provide technical support to the entire organization.
• Test, evaluate and research decisions about new technology for the business.
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
• Interact with IT vendors, external suppliers and other contractual partners to ensure procurement and IT services are delivered in time.
• Ensure that technology and systems are well maintained to their maximum performance and availability.
• Implement security measures to protect company from external threats.
• Implement policy and procedures to guarantee data and assets availability, integrity and security as per the company standards and ensure business continuity
• Participate in company strategy implementation and work on required
• SKPI’s and SI’s as part of organization on going development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 2 to 3 years experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies.
