Hiring Architect & Interior Designer (for a Real Estate Developer)
Work Location: JLT, Dubai.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a reputable university. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
• Should have Min 7 - 10 years’ experience, and minimum 5 - 7 years’ UAE/GCC experience in residential, mixed-use, hospitality, etc. projects.
• Exposure to the latest building materials, building systems and interior and exterior trends.
• Must have previous experience of having worked for Consultant/Developer organizations.
• Proficiency in InDesign, PhotoShop, SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and other similar design software is essential.
• Good hand sketching skills required. Experience in the full process from conception till handover of projects.
Job Description
• Shall report to the Development Manager.
• Shall work as in-house team member for Client side.
• Position is head office-based and site office-based.
• Participation in all project development phases from schematic design through construction including conceptual and detailed planning, designing, material specification, etc.
• Monitor the design development timelines and follow-up with relevant stakeholders (consultants and contractors) to ensure that the agreed timelines are met and relevant deliverables are received.
• Outline design objectives. Conceptualize and sketch design plans. Responsible for evolving designs for meeting the goals of business requirements.
