Looking out for Chartered Accountants – for the role of Assistant Finance Manager (team handling role) in overseeing accounting activities, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant having minimum 5 years of work experience and minimum 2-3 years of managerial role in retails.
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
• Based in UAE
Job Role:
• Provide guidance and support to the team in day-to-day operations.
• Establish and monitor goals for professional development of staff.
• Supervise accounting functions for the retail division, including chart of accounts control.
• Manage financial and cost accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely processing of rental payments, trade license renewals, and insurance.
• Coordinate with banks and manage cash flow.
• Collaborate with country/area managers on daily activities.
• Support payroll manager.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and budgetary control.
• Support financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, income tax, customs duty, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and government agencies.
• Assist in system changes and coordination with IT.
