Accounting & Finance Manager
Our client is a leading real estate developer specializing in the construction of multifunctional complexes, residential and commercial real estate is looking for Accounting & Finance Manager to join their Dubai office.
Main Responsibilities:
• Building a full accounting and tax function from scratch for all Group companies - about 3 development projects and up to 10 legal entities in the foreseeable future
• Control of accounting records maintenance by outsourcing company until the transfer of accounting records to in-house
• Performing statutory monthly closing procedures
• Preparation of accounting statements, explanatory notes on the financial statements
• Analysis and conduct of company agreements and settlements, estimation of tax consequences
• Organization of control of mutual settlements with debtors, creditors and banks
• Coordination and analysis of concluded contracts with outside partners, assessment of taxation risks
• Reconciliation of payments from the point of view of accounting and tax accounting
• Passing through audits and inspections by tax authorities
• Formation and filing of tax returns (VAT, income tax)
• Tax planning and budgeting
• Preparation of reports and consultations for the management
• Formation and timely actualization of accounting and tax policies
• Participation in the automation of accounting and tax accounting based on 1C
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in UAE
• Fluent in English and Russian
• Experience in a real estate development company
• Proven knowledge of IFRS, local accounting and tax reporting
• Experience interacting with tax authorities in UAE
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Word
• ACCA (preferred)
• Experience in managing a team
