Location: Dubai
• Complete knowledge of basic HVAC, Plumbing and firefighting concepts.
• Study the scope of work, tender drawings, specifications & tender documents.
• Quantity take-off for HVAC/ Water supply/ Drainage/ Firefighting, etc. services.
• Send out RFQ for (materials, vendors & subcontractors), follow-up, prepare technical & commercial comparison sheet. Check compliance to scope of work and delivery period of long lead items.
• Send TQ’s and review client’s responses, terms & conditions and suppliers/ subcontractors offers then prepare the qualifications/ deviations.
• Prepare the tender cost estimation, such as labor man-hour estimates, materials, equipment cost, etc. considering the location and duration of the project.
• Analyzing the item quotes are conforming to the project specifications.
• Calculate/assist in the calculation of preliminaries (Engineering, supervision, management, site & camp facilities, transportation, clearance, taxes, insurances, permits, license, etc.)
• Prepare BoQs and Cost summary.
• Participate in Cost Variance analysis and Value engineering.
• Participate in the preparation of the tender schedule, equipment schedule.
• Participate and coordinate with estimation team to prepare updated tender register which shall include submitted value, validity, technical and commercial clarifications if any, award status, etc.
• Prepare Project Execution Plan/ Cost to completion and participate in milestone schedule preparation.
• Prepare the reply to the clarification requests issued by the Client regarding the submitted tender and attend post tender meeting.
Requirements
• The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering./Electrical Engineering
• The candidate should have 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Have positive attitude, be a good team member and be proactive
