Design Architect

Immediate Requirement for a Design Architect required for projects in Dubai, permanent position.
Job Brief
To contribute to delivery of a large portfolio of projects, from initial vision to operation either through our in-house Design Team or through external partners.
Specific Job Responsibilities
• Ensures design work is completed on time and adheres to the established specifications and standards
• Assist in developing and maintain the Design Programme
• Facilitate and minute weekly coordination meetings with the client, authorities and relevant sub consultants
• To advise and support on the project delivery
• To ensure effective communication and negotiation between client and other design team
• To ensure the highest standards of service are delivered by ensuring a positive and proactive approach is maintained throughout the team to ensure continued client satisfaction is achieved, continually monitoring and improving the service
• To make recommendations on design and technical issues
• Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and his/her obligations in the development of a building design
• To encourage and promote the continuous improvement of working methods
Educational Background/ Experience
• Must hold a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering
• Minimum 12 years’ work experience in related field
• Minimum 5 years consultancy experience
Computer Skills
• Should have knowledge in computer software in particular:
• AutoCAD, Photoshop & REVIT
Other Skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with design programme
• Experience in leading design teams would be an advantage
• Experience in designing Low/High Rise, Residential & Hotels projects in Dubai
• Capability of independently liaising with Clients and Contractors
• Familiarity with Dubai local authority regulations
• Immediately available would be preferred
