Operations/Transport Executive

We Are Looking For an Operations/Transport Executive
Experience in the same field is required.
Requirements:
• Experience in Logistics and Land Freight
• Proven work experience as a Transportation Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator, or similar role
• Solid knowledge of the supply chain and land freight in GCC countries
• Experience preparing and tracking orders
• Familiarity with logistics software
• Excellent organizational skills
• Capable of supervising and monitoring trailers and loading
• Problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for searching for a good supplier or transporter
• Negotiating prices with the supplier or transporter
• In charge of communicating with customers and transporters.
• Receiving truck requirements from the customer
• Book and place trailers as per the required loading time and location, and make sure trucks are placed on time.
• Following up with transporters on the truck and delivery time lines until check in at the loading point.
• Track the status of trucks with transporters, communicate issues, and provide solutions.
• Monitor and update key performance indicators (KPIs) for transporters.
• Track down all trucks until they reach the loading point with all related documentation.
• Be responsible for the full consistency of transportation.
• Full monthly reporting on the details per shipment (Call-off time and date, delivery time, etc.)
• Escalate all business issues on time and with proper details for fast action and decision-making.
• Planning and supervising the shipments from loading to the end-user
• Scheduling daily and weekly routes
• Tracking the shipment using functional systems
