Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required for a leading MEP company in UAE.
Qualification and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or other related field.
• 5 + years related quality surveyor experience
• Strong English language communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong computer skills (AutoCAD and Microsoft Office)
• Able to undertake complex and repetitive calculations.
• High work productivity with the highest quality
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to operate effectively in a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and compare Tender documents.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and prepare BOQ.
• Reviews and compares Tender documents (tender specifications, drawings, BOQ and Addenda)
• Prepares tender queries in case of discrepancies found
• Quantifies and identifies any missing items that may need to be incorporated within the tender office, drawings, and/or BOQ.
• Prepares a detailed backup of the components of Lump Sum items to assist the Tendering Dept. in making the right assessment for the bid item.
• Qualifies and identifies any missing items that may be needed to be incorporated within the tender offer.
• Qualifies any discrepancy between the tender drawing and BOQ if any.
• Attend site visits and prepares report.
• Compares contract documents with tender documents after project is awarded.
