Middleware Consultant required
Location: - Dubai
Mode of hiring/Duration: -6 Months Extendable contract
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the design, development, testing, debugging, delivery and support of API and middleware integration development.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Broadcom API development.
• 3-5 years’ experience of Boomi development.
• Experience in working in PODs or in an Agile environment as an API developer partnering successfully with other POD members
• Proven experience in developing and implementing high performing and scalable API Products
• Advocate of API-First Design Methodology and familiarity with concepts of Channel, Process and System APIs
• Designing Consumer-Friendly APIs and respective Data Models (JSON/XML) using Open API Specifications (Swaggers)
• Strong understanding of the ins and outs of the API management platform, preferably Broadcom / CA API Management Suite, to implement API Orchestration, API Security, API Metering, and other API Management functions that support the scaling of APIs per standards consistent across the organization
• Best practices in API Design and Development
• Synchronous and Asynchronous APIs
• Proven ability in implementation and support for 3 full project life cycles of significant size, scope and complexity (Required).
• Proven ability to design and optimize application integration processes across disparate systems
• Enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application integration patterns including ESB, MDM, JMS, KAFKA, REST, SOAP web services, databases, ETL
Good understanding in areas:
• Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS and Google
• IaaS, PaaS and SaaS paradigm and enabling technologies
• Key application infrastructure components such as VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, SMB), Java JVM, networking (firewall, load balancing, proxies)
• Developing modern application integrations based on Micro services, Event-Driven and API driven architecture
• Understanding of business systems (e.g., SAP Applications) and business processes (supply chain, lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.)
• Products:  Dell Boomi, Broadcom APIM products, Microsoft Event Hub, SAP ERP (IS Auto and IS Retail).
Desired Technical Skills
• Familiarity with Broadcom APIM products, Microsoft Event Hub.
• Familiarity with Boomi Atmosphere or other visual-based integration middleware platforms
