Junior AP Accountant

Hiring Junior AP Accountant with QuickBooks experience
We are looking for a junior accountant who will be joining our accounting team of five people and Assist in
• Entering and managing the AP with large number of transactions a day with multiple different suppliers
• Manage daily contact with suppliers for ad hoc requests.
• Checking approval software against villa received and being able to question differences.
• prepare supplier statements and quickly close month end
• prepare relevant excel analysis and comparison to maintain cost control and suggest improvement
• Be open and able to suggest policy and operational improvements within the team based on experience.
• Be flexible with working hours during month end and audit periods.
• The role has potential to grow into to managerial position and also assist in other accounting areas such as event accounting/AR.
Following prerequisites MUST be in order
• CPA or certified accountant from relevant country
• Experience in QuickBooks online
• VAT experience
• proficient in verbal and written English
• driven, ability to question and work without hand holding
• Driver’s license. Office is in al quoz.
• Two working references a must
• Excel and Microsoft office use.
• you must be in UAE
• Other qualifications are a plus
• experience with corporate tax
• Ability to Analysis and look at cost control
• Restaurant and hospitality experience
• No need for visa but labor card will be offered if already on husband/wife visa.
• Work schedule is part time but on an annual basis (tourism seasonality so May—Aug is off). Can be discussed. Position to start ASAP.
• Salary range 6-8 k depending on experience and requirement for visa.
