Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor for our project in Dubai. You will have minimum 8-12 years experience with main contractor on construction of buildings projects in UAE/GCC region.
• To manage the commercial aspects of the Project with the Employer, Subcontractor and Suppliers and to ensure the Contractor’s contractual entitlements during the Project.
• Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with the employer, consultants and subcontractors.
• Attend commercial meetings with clients, cost consultants, commercial correspondence with the consultant, preparing variation order and interim payments, follow-ups with client for variations and payments.
• Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary.
• Invitation to subcontractors, analyze subcontractor quotations, negotiation with subcontractors, preparing and issuing subcontract agreements, preparing and issuing payments and variation orders to subcontractors.
• Ensure timely procurement of material as per procurement schedules.
• Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments.
• Carry out the reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performance.
• Work closely with site management staff to support the smooth running of the site.
• Assist in the guidance and development of junior surveyors.
