Compliance Manager

We have an opening for Compliance Manager with one of a well-known Marketing company in Dubai.
Languages: Fluent English. Knowledge of Spanish and/or French and/or any other language an advantage
Job Description
• Lead the company’s compliance efforts by designing, implementing, documenting, and updating internal and external controls, policies, and procedures to assure compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations.
• Develop procedures and ensure strict adherence to avoid Cross Recruiting in all the Regions/Countries that the Company has members in.
• Work with management and staff to research, identify and manage compliance risk ensuring the company has internal and external controls that adequately measure and manage the risks it faces
• Manage investigations into regulatory and compliance issues
• Damage control – work with management and teams to ensure there are procedures and guidelines in place on how to respond to a possible compliance breach
• Design and implement appropriate disciplinary measures to avoid a future recurrence
• Educate field on compliance issues and best practices
• Train teams; create and distribute compliance policy and procedure manuals
• Provide advice on rules and regulations in real time
• Develop and implement programs to remove trademark infringement in improper claims found on the Internet
• Ensure continual monitoring and review of compliance procedures including internal audits to help identify possible areas where improvement could be made
Requirements
• 8-10 years compliance experience in MLM/direct sales industry
• Understanding of MLM model, genealogy tree structure
• Advanced knowledge of regulations as well as the regulatory issues specific to MLM industry
• Experience and comfortable working with field leaders and representatives
• Deep understanding of MLM language and principles
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Law degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
