Head of Design & Engineering Systems

We’re recruiting for the below role to be based in Dubai.
Title: Head of Design & Engineering Systems
Location: Dubai
• Summary: Manages the activities of a large work unit (10-20 employees) dedicated to providing Engineering Systems (ES) services to project-wide stakeholders.
• Has the primary responsibility for managing the project budget for Engineering, standards, design and engineering IT products and services. Assures engineering systems and services meet project standards for technical excellence and meet budget and scheduling requirements.
• Draws upon diversified experience in providing leadership and direction for a wide range of assignments to ES staff. Hires and supervises ES staff, providing ongoing feedback as well as regular performance evaluations and reviews.
Key Criteria:
• 4-year degree in engineering-related discipline and 15 + years of progressive experience working with engineering-related software and/or engineering IT technologies, including 10+ yrs. in a leadership role. Possesses specific industry knowledge in the AEC industry
• Excellent knowledge of the several platforms used in the AEC industry such as not limited to Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, ARCGIS etc.
• Sound knowledge of Business Processes that enables the AEC industry
• Sound knowledge of Automation technologies to support Engineering Applications
• Experienced in ISO19650 implementations
• Engineering vendor provided certifications such as Autodesk, Bentley etc.
