Ayesh Albarguthi Auditing & Accounting Consultancy offers comprehensive audit services including statutory, external and internal audit, accounting, financial and HR consultancy, accounting and finance outsourcing, as well as the firm is registered financial expert in UAE courts.
As our Senior Accountant you will have these main objectives:
• Lead the execution of month-end and year-end closing activities as per policies and procedures. You will conduct Balance sheet and P&L;variance analysis, sub-ledger vs GL reconciliation monthly
• Preparation of journal entries; reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. You will be responsible for monthly bank reconciliation as well as for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Take responsibility for any internal and external audits, through to the financial statement completion where applicable. You will standardize accounting schedules and implement quality review processes
• Prepare the workings for various accounting treatments as per IFRS. You will develop and review our accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS
• Coordinate with other offices for monthly reporting. You will prepare monthly VAT reporting in line with FTA and all other relevant tax authorities’ requirements
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting processes ensuring that proper books of accounts are maintained for effective financial control in accordance with corporate standards and local statutory requirements
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting operations and systems, processes and practices considering automation and improvement of business processes
• Liaise with other departments in the business to translate the business activities into complete and transparent accounting information
• Stay updated on changes in the accounting and tax regulations
• You will be a good fit if you:
• CPA/ ACCA
• Project base assignments
• 10 years’ previous experience in a similar industry and/or role
• Possess strong knowledge of IFRS and FTA requirements
• Bilingual: English & Arabic
• Dynamic leader/ Able to change the transformation
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and operate effectively with people at all levels of the business
